Overview of Program
Pharmacy is a life-saving health profession. It deals with the preparation, dispensing, and rational use of drugs for the treatment and prevention of diseases. Pharmacy is an essential part of the health care system. The pharmacist provides consultation to other members of the health care system in order to enable patients receive rational and appropriate treatment by the selection of correct medicines for a particular disease to get the desired outcomes of the treatment.
The Sahara College offers a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm-D) 5 years degree at its Narowal Campus. During this time period, students receive rigorous training In theoretical and practical knowledge of all aspects of pharmacy. The syllabus has been designed in light of recommendations from NEC and the Pharmacy Council of Pakistan.

Our main aim is to equip the students with contemporary knowledge and education through meticulous class lectures, practical work in laboratories and apprenticeship training. The plant collection tour in second professional year is a part of students awareness regarding the identification and cultivation of various plants of medicinal value. The industrial tour in the fourth professional year helps students to understand and comprehend technical manufacturing stages in the production and quality control of pharmaceutical and allied products. We will work in close collaboration with Sugra Shall Medical Complex, Narowal which is situated adjacent to the College. The College has also a well-furnished Library with an adequate collection of latest reference books. College has well established & equipped Laboratories for student training. Multiple job opportunities are available for the graduates in Public and Private Sectors in the fields of Teaching, Drugs Controlling / Analysis, Drugs Manufacturing, Nuclear Pharmacy, Community and Retail Pharmacy, Clinical and Hospital Pharmacy and Drug Marketing.

- Air Conditioner Charges applicable as per Actual.
- 10% Scholarship would be granted to students with good markes. Scholarships would be continued / granted throughout the course on the basis of GPA.
