BS microbiology is a blend of basic sciences and medical sciences that will educate students to practice in the disciplines of microbiology, chemistry, diversity of plants, animal life, pathology, immunology, food, water, medical, environmental and veterinary microbiology and microbial genetics. Microbiologist practice in hospitals, independent commercial laboratories, clinics, physician offices, public health departments, industries and other settings. BS microbiology offers a wide variety of career options, including research, business, industry, sales and marketing
